From there he has worked in FAA Part 135 maintenance shops, and repair stations in Texas and Missouri. In June of 2009, he received his Inspection Authorization (IA) from Bakers College of Aeronautics. He managed an aircraft maintenance shop in Georgia before returning back to KMDH in October of 2011. It has been a career highlight to offer his maintenance experience to the aviation community that gave him his start.
Continuing education is a strong proponent of his at Southern Sky Maintenance. Zac frequently attends various aviation classes and seminars, including yearly IA conferences, Continental Advanced factory training, and others.
Zac is also part of the Southern Illinois Airport Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting team and continuing various FEMA training. Being a pilot, mechanic and aircraft owner, he understands the needs of the general aviation community and works hard to provide his customers with the quality service they deserve at an affordable price.
